What now for Hemel’s market square?
Moves to remove the old stalls in the market place near the bus station continue apace, I welcome this as the site has become tatty and with the stalls gone it can then be used for a greater range of activities.
I questioned at council though the continued use of the site of charity markets and was comforted by the response that uses such as charity markets will be considered when they look at the continued use of the site once it becomes an open square.
